In April, Aku Soundsystem had the pleasure of collaborating with the team behind Zonnewende Festival, a Belgian festival known for its focus on connection, atmosphere and collective experience. From the very beginning, the project was driven by a shared vision of creating a space where sound, light and people come together naturally.
Beyond the technical aspect, this collaboration was built on dialogue, trust and a common sensitivity to sound culture. Working closely with the Zonnewende team allowed us to align technical choices with artistic intentions, ensuring that the sound system fully supported the energy and identity of the festival.
For the event, Aku Soundsystem provided a sound setup designed to deliver clarity, impact and consistency across the site, while remaining attentive to listening comfort and musical expression. Every decision was made collaboratively, with the goal of serving both the artists and the audience.
We are grateful to the Zonnewende organization for their openness, commitment and human approach. Projects like this remind us that the strongest results come from people working together, sharing ideas and trusting the process, as much as the technology itself.
