In 2025, Aku Soundsystem was proud to support a major event organized by Labyrinth, headlined by Carl Cox. An event of this scale is more than a performance, it”s a collective moment where sound, space and energy must work in perfect balance.
For this event, Aku Soundsystem deployed a large-scale Funktion-One system, designed to deliver power, precision and consistency across the entire site. The focus was on maintaining impact and musical clarity, while ensuring a coherent listening experience from the front rows to the furthest areas of the audience.
To support this approach, the system was built around cardioid V221 subwoofer arrays and a VERO main system, carefully reinforced with delay lines to maintain balance and definition across the space. Dedicated monitoring and low-end reinforcement at the booth ensured optimal conditions for the artist, while a complementary backfill setup extended clarity and presence throughout the venue. Together, these elements formed a cohesive system capable of translating both intensity and nuance, from the first row to the outer edges of the audience.
Every element was carefully aligned and tuned to support the intensity and dynamics of the performance, allowing the music to fully connect with the crowd.
